What weeks work best for a prediction?+
12–16 weeks is the sweet spot. The nub is most visible in this window. Earlier than 12 weeks and the genital tubercle hasn't differentiated enough; later than 16 weeks and a regular ultrasound can tell you directly.
How accurate is it really?+
Combined accuracy is around 70–80%, depending on image quality and gestational age. Nub theory alone can be 93–97% accurate with a clear 13-14 week scan. We're transparent about this because we want you to have fun, not make nursery decisions based solely on our prediction!
What if the AI can't read my scan?+
